Masking—Layers of Neurodivergent Identity and Social Survival aims to shed light on a deeply personal yet widely shared experience, using intersections of sculpture and wearable art as a means of communication and transformation. It creates a series of sculptural pieces incorporating materials and forms that reflect the fragility, complexity, and resilience associated with masking strategies.
This is an ongoing project, exploring and playing with the ideas (and ideals?) of shown and hidden identity and social and structural neuronormativity from personal and collective aspects.

Arts-based research as part of my BA thesis. Categorisation of masking experiences based on autoethnographic approach. What does masking feel like? How describe it in a physical form?
Later the masks were gifted to performers of Mirrored Fatality (USA) as a token of appreciation. The masks have gotten a new life as part of their stage and recorded performances.
